Auschwitz Concentration Camp


A visit to a death camp created by Nazi in 1940 at first for Polish political prisoners. From 1942 to 1945 a place of extermination of European Jews and Gypsies. The largest camp during W W II, where died approximately 1.5 million people. Visit in the Museum of Auschwitz I (1.5 hour), and Auschwitz II-Birkenau (0.5 hour). Due to the enormous size of Auschwitz II-Birkenau the visit is limited to wooden barracks in the quarantine section and the guard tower above the main entrance that allows you to see the size of the camp. It is also possible to see the entire camp in Auschwitz II-Birkenau, in which case you need to reserve the entire day for the trip.
